Description

My many years of teaching ultimately (finally!) brought me to middle school science, in both public and private schools. Often, the inherent scientific curiosity of children has been dampened as they enter middle school and we need that back! My inspiration is Magic School Bus’s Miss Frizzle, and I am passionate about students of all ages embracing the philosophy: “Take chances, make mistakes, get messy!” 

I now bring that teaching to Lower and Middle School science teachers in campus visits, workshops, and curriculum development. I am married to a great science guy, have grown science nerdy-fabulous daughters, and so far, have 3 amazing grandbabies who definitely take chances, make mistakes, and get messy!
