Description

Brenda is an Instructional Technology Specialist and authorized Google Education Trainer with over 25 years of teaching experience at all grade levels. She is an adjunct professor at Simmons College in the Assistive Technology Graduate Program and regularly leads EdTechTeacher workshops. In her role with Newton Public Schools, she works directly with students and supports teachers as they plan and implement effective technology integrations into their curricula.

Brenda holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Massachusetts and a Master’s Degree in Technology in Education from Lesley University. Since 2011, she has been the technology advisor for 3 Teaching American History grants, facilitating the implementation of blogs, Google apps, and social bookmarking tools. Brenda has also been a facilitator for several online, blended and face-to-face courses for the Newton Public Schools, EDCO and TEC collaboratives.
