Description
For 18+ years, I worked at Greenwich Academy in Greenwich, CT as an elementary and middle school teacher, advisor and team leader and later as the Director of the Lower School Associate Teacher Program and as the middle school counselor. I received my Ed.M and M.A in Psychological Counseling from Teachers College, Columbia University and am licensed by the state of Connecticut as an LPC. I currently have a private practice in Westport, CT where I specialize in working with adolescents, young adults and parents.
My work for CAISpd bridges my two professional lives by offering a unique perspective as both educator and clinician to the role of the advisor. Participants will have the opportunity to shine the spotlight specifically on this advising role and deep-dive the various aspects of this work along with colleagues in similar roles from other independent schools.
