Good morning colleagues and friends,
As part of The Woodstock Academy’s student-led Conference Series, we are excited to open registration for this spring’s Human Rights Conference being held at The Academy’s South Campus, on Thursday, March 30, 2023. You and members of your student community are invited to join us for discussions and workshops with local and regional Human Rights leaders.
Topics are varied and range from food scarcity, human trafficking, the refugees/immigration, and more. Each workshop is designed to be interactive and thought-provoking, leaving student participants with a lasting set of tools with which to develop their own understanding of human rights. The conference is open to students in 8th grade through high school and will bring together a diverse group of people with the goal “to engage students and adults in authentic, hands-on opportunities in diverse topics.”
