What: Teaching Wisdom for the Ages
Who: Doug Lyons, Ed.D

Teaching children is some of the best, most important work adults can undertake, and Doug Lyons has an abundance of wisdom to spare—and share—about guiding children effectively on their journey from innocence to maturity. The former headmaster of Greenwich Country Day School and past executive director of the Connecticut Association of Independent Schools, Doug will help make sense of what children need from their teachers to develop good habits of mind and character, offering the strategies he found to have the most impact during the years he spent leading private and public schools, as a veteran of the classroom and in his role as a father and grandfather.
