Dr. Christopher Bogart, clinical psychologist and a consultant to schools for more than 20 years, will share his insights into how children manage difficult experiences—such as the modified learning experiences, altered social patterns and additional stress at home brought about by the pandemic—and identify how educators can play a role in supporting students and building their resilience during this time. Dr. Bogart sees an opportunity for growth in such challenges, and will reach into his toolkit to share approaches and philosophies that will enable educators to encourage healthy adaptations and social-emotional growth in their students while also serving as a resource for their families.
