Please join us at Avon Old Farms School on April 7-8, 2023, for an unusual and provocative conference dedicated to historicizing our own moment. Keynote speakers include prize-winning historian of the Gilded Age, capitalism, and the American West Richard White (Stanford University), and Emmy-winning documentary filmmaker Ramita Navai (PBS and U.K. Channel 4).

Conference sessions focus on the role of war, climate change, technology and misinformation, threats to democracy, and education. Presenters include university professors, a career UK diplomat and OBE recipient, teachers, and students.
