Noni Thomas López, Ed.D, Head of School; Amanda Riegel, Board Chair, and Lynn Bowman, Assistant Head of School, The Gordon School
The work of effectively integrating the principles of diversity, equity, inclusion and justice into the lifeblood of an independent school community requires a strong partnership among the Head of School, the Board Chair, and the DEIJ Practitioner. In this session, participants will learn how the Gordon School has leveraged this key partnership over the past twenty years to become leaders in multicultural practice and antiracist pedagogy. For part of the session, participants will have the opportunity to meet in role-based affinity groups facilitated by the workshop presenters.
